C&D Pet Studio team with dogs and trophies at ATQ 2026 in Victoriaville

Five Placements and New Milestones: C&D Pet Studio at ATQ 2026

C&D Pet Studio returned from the 2026 ATQ grooming competition in Victoriaville with five placements and plenty of inspiration. For Emma Hsu, Albee Lin and Cindy Huang, the weekend was a chance to celebrate hard work, learn from the judges and take on new challenges together.

Celebrating our team’s achievements

  • Emma Hsu: 1st place in Novice Other Purebreds and 2nd place in Novice Freestyle.
  • Albee Lin: 3rd place in Novice Wire Coat.
  • Cindy Huang: 1st place in Intermediate Sporting Dog with an English Cocker Spaniel, and 3rd place in Intermediate Other Breeds.

New breeds, new learning

The weekend also brought our team new experience with the Bouvier des Flandres and the English Cocker Spaniel. Working with these breeds gave us more to study, practise and bring back to our grooming and teaching. The awards are a proud milestone, and the learning behind them is just as valuable.

A shared effort

Our thanks go to judges Nancy Bryson, Scott Wasserman and Sandra Orford, and to the ATQ organizers for creating a supportive event. Cindy is also grateful to Chantel Hunt for introducing her to Sporting grooming and the English Cocker Spaniel.

So much of a competition happens before anyone enters the ring. Thank you to Lucie Desmarais for transporting, bathing and preparing the dogs; Stéphanie Larocque for trusting us with her dogs; and Sonja Van Maanen for introducing us to the Bouvier des Flandres and sharing her resources. We also thank Nelson Kim for driving, caring for the dogs and supporting our team throughout the journey.

We are proud of Emma, Albee and Cindy, and grateful to everyone who helped make this experience possible. We return with achievements to celebrate and fresh motivation to keep improving together.
